Prescriptions come from licensed providers working through unnamed third-party "Medical Groups"; Direct Meds says it does not practice medicine. The Our Team page names Dr. Justin Hohl as Chief Medical Officer, and the help center says a medical director oversees internal clinical and compliance review.

Cancelling, refunds and the contract

What Direct Meds GLP-1’s own terms say, in their words, so you know the exit before you pay.

Cancelling

The terms say you can cancel up to 48 hours before the next processing date by turning off auto-refill in the account portal. The help center says U.S. patients cannot change subscriptions in the portal and must call 888-696-7176 or use live chat, and that orders can be cancelled only before they are submitted to the pharmacy.

Refunds

A prescription order can be cancelled only within 24 hours, and only if the provider network has not received it. No refunds for medication already received or shipped. Returns are accepted only for wrong, damaged, unsafe or unshipped products or a denied prescription, and returned medication carries a $35 disposal fee. Approved refunds go back to the original card in 3 to 5 business days.

Billing and contract

Subscriptions auto-charge on a recurring cycle: the terms say every 30 days with notice 5 to 7 days before each charge, the help center says 28 days, and prepaid plans renew every 84, 252 or 336 days. The weight-loss FAQ says "no subscriptions", which conflicts with the terms. Disputes go to individual AAA arbitration in Salt Lake City under Utah law, with a class-action waiver, a $1,000 liability cap and a one-year claim limit.

Plan details in the fine print

Lines in Direct Meds GLP-1’s terms, FAQ or checkout that change what you pay or how long you are committed. None of them is hidden, and all of them are easy to miss.

1. The injectable semaglutide starter dose is three bottles shipped together for $891, billed as $297 a month over three months. Since shipped orders cannot be refunded, this works like a three-month commitment.

Marketing pages promise shipping within 1 business day with free priority shipping. The help center says partner pharmacies ship Monday to Thursday and most orders ship 2 to 3 business days after the pharmacy gets the prescription. Temperature-controlled orders go UPS or FedEx Next-Day Air, and shipments include insurance for lost packages.
