Lilly and Novo both sell their own drugs for cash, without a telehealth program in between. These are their published entry prices, quoted from their own pages, as context: we earn nothing on them and link none of them. A program can still beat them once you count the visit, or lose to them once you count its fee.

How to choose a brand-name GLP-1 program
How to choose a brand-name GLP-1 program: 7 checks
Price ranks the list. These decide whether the cheapest is cheapest for you. Each count is from the programs on this page, today.
- The price at your dose
- 1 of 2 hold one price at every dose
- Advertised prices are usually the starting dose. A seller that charges more as you step up can end up dearer than one with a higher entry price.
- How long you commit
- 5 of 5 sell brand-name GLP-1 month to month
- 5 of 5 publish cancel-anytime terms. A low price that needs a 6 or 12-month prepay is a loan to the seller if you stop early.
- Fees on top
- 3 of 5 add a membership fee
- 1 charge a separate consultation. We rank on the all-in price so a fee cannot hide.
- Insurance
- 3 of 5 take insurance
- Most cash programs cannot bill your plan. If your plan covers a brand GLP-1, a copay can beat every cash price here.
- Brand or compounded
- 3 of 5 also sell an FDA-approved brand
- Compounded versions are cheaper and not FDA-approved. If you want the approved drug later, a seller that stocks both saves a switch.
- Who stands behind it
- 1 of 5 carry a LegitScript certificate we confirmed
- A real program names its clinician network and its pharmacy. LegitScript certifies telehealth sellers; check a certificate on legitscript.com, not on a badge the seller hosts.
- Where you live
- 3 of 5 ship to all 50 states
- State rules decide who can prescribe and dispense. Check your state before you pay an intake fee.

Cheapest brand-name GLP-1: common questions
What is the cheapest brand-name GLP-1 right now?
Sesame Care, at $208 a month all in month to month, read off its own site in October 2026. That is the lowest of 5 sellers we track for brand-name GLP-1, ranked on what actually leaves your account, membership fees included.
How much does brand-name GLP-1 cost per month?
Across the 5 sellers we verified, the entry price runs from $208 to $1,299 a month all in, with a median of $348. Entry prices are usually the starting dose; the page lists each seller's term and fee.
Do brand-name GLP-1 programs charge a membership fee?
2 of the 5 we verified charge no separate fee. 3 add one on top of the medication price (Sesame Care $59, Mochi Health $79, Lemonaid Health $49), which is why we rank on the all-in price.
Does the price of brand-name GLP-1 go up with the dose?
It depends on the seller: some charge the same at every dose and some charge more as you step up. The advertised entry price is usually the lowest dose, so check the price at your dose on the seller's page before you compare.
Is compounded brand-name GLP-1 FDA-approved?
No. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by licensed pharmacies for individual prescriptions and are not FDA-approved products; the FDA does not review them for safety or effectiveness before sale. Brand versions (Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro) are FDA-approved. Each seller page here names the pharmacy we could identify.
Can I pay for brand-name GLP-1 with an HSA or FSA?
Usually, for the medication. The IRS counts "prescribed medicines and drugs" as medical expenses, and an HSA pays for "medical care" as defined in Code section 213(d) (IRS Publications 502 and 969, read October 2026). Program fees count when the weight loss is "a treatment for a specific disease diagnosed by a physician (such as obesity...)". Your plan administrator decides what it reimburses, so check before you pay; we track prices, not tax rules.
Do I need a prescription for brand-name GLP-1?
Yes. Every GLP-1 here is sold on a prescription from a licensed clinician after an intake; 5 of the 5 programs we track say who does the prescribing, and 1 charge a separate consultation fee. FDA says compounded drugs "should only be used in patients whose medical needs cannot be met by an FDA-approved drug", so a seller that ships without assessing you is a red flag.
Why trust this page, and our sources
Why trust this page
- PricesRead from each seller’s own page and dated, weekly. 106 recorded checks across 5 sellers since August 2026. How we verify
- OrderPrice only, all in. We earn a commission from some programs and it never moves a row. How we make money
- Written byJulian Caraulani, Founder, PriceTracker GLP-1.
- Clinical reviewDr. A. Goher, MD reviews the clinical statements only, never prices, rankings or which programs pay us.
- All in, not advertised. A $149 program with a $74 monthly membership is a $223 program, and it ranks as one. Where a seller has not published a fee we could verify, the row says so rather than assuming zero.
- Same money, shorter plan first. On a tie, the price you can walk away from after a month ranks above the same number on a prepay; then the name, alphabetically.
- Only sellers we can verify. Programs we cannot check, or that have stopped taking patients, drop off the list rather than sitting on it stale.
