What counts as a change

  1. Two consecutive reads of the seller’s own pricing page, at different entry prices.
  2. Reads are weekly and dated; the price shown is the program’s cheapest advertised monthly price.
  3. Modeled history before August 2026 and database seed rows never count.
  4. A new plan term is not a price change. When a seller adds a longer prepaid plan below a monthly price that did not move, we list it as a new plan and leave it out of the count.

How this is made, and what it does not show

Method

  • A change is two consecutive genuine reads of the seller's own pricing page at different entry prices.
  • The entry price is the program's cheapest advertised monthly price, read weekly and dated.
  • Seed rows and the modeled history before tracking began never count.

Full methodology · Every source we use

What this does not show

  • Moves above the entry price. A program can reprice a higher dose or a longer plan without its entry price moving; the dataset rows show those.
  • Why a seller moved. We record what the page says and when, not the reason.
  • Promotions that run between two weekly reads. A price that changes and changes back inside a week is not seen.

Price changes: common questions

How many GLP-1 price changes have there been?

2 genuine entry-price changes across the 21 programs we track since August 2026: 0 down and 2 up, 1 of them in the 30 days before our latest read. 1 more were new plan terms, which we list but do not count.

What counts as a price change here?

Two consecutive genuine reads of a seller's own pricing page at different entry prices. Database seed rows and the modeled history before tracking began never count, and a new, longer prepaid plan below an unchanged monthly price is labelled as a new plan term instead of a price drop.

How often is this page updated?

Every program's pricing page is re-read weekly, and this page recomputes every hour from those reads. A quiet week says so rather than showing an old change as new.
