Julian Caraulani

Founder, PriceTracker GLP-1

Julian built PriceTracker GLP-1 and owns the methodology behind it: which programs are tracked, how a price gets verified, and what the index number is defined to mean. Every price on the site is read from the seller's own page and dated, and where a number cannot be verified the page says so rather than estimating. He is not a clinician and does not write clinical guidance; this site tracks what things cost.

How does it make money?

Affiliate commissions. When a reader signs up with some of the programs on the board through our link, that program pays us. It costs the reader nothing extra, and it is how the site stays free.

  • Every commission link is tagged sponsored, and every money page carries a one-line disclosure.
  • Every list is ranked by verified all-in monthly price, membership fees included. Commission is not an input.
  • The score out of 10 on each card is computed from five published factors; commission and partner status are not among them, and the score never reorders a list.
  • One slot is commercial: Our pick. It is chosen on what it earns, labelled as a commercial choice every time it renders, and sits beside the ranking, never inside it.

The full statement is in how we make money and the editorial policy.

How is a price read and dated?

Every price is a dated observation of what a seller advertised on its own page: 150 prices across 25 programs today, 637 price checks since 20 August 2026.

Weekly

Every program, every price

A full pass reads each program's own pricing pages. A model may read the page; code decides what is published. Each price needs a verbatim quote found on the saved page, bound to its own drug and billing term, and not a teaser or first-month price.

Two reads

A move must repeat

A changed price, a new plan or a dropped product is applied only after two consecutive weekly reads agree. A large move by one of the five cheapest programs, a new fee or a removal is held for a human.

Daily

Re-checked at 04:30 UTC

A plain fetch of every live offer's source page, no AI. If every stored price is still on its page, bound to its drug, the program's checked date moves to today. If it is not, nothing is re-dated and the program is flagged for a human read.

Always

Dated and append-only

Every price carries the day it was read. A change adds a new dated point; the old one is never rewritten. A jump of more than 40% in one check is held before it publishes, because a misread looks exactly like a price drop.

Every move a seller makes goes on the change log with both reads. The whole process is on the methodology page.

What it will not do

Paid placement

No program can pay to move up

Every list is ordered by verified all-in price. One slot, Our pick, is a labelled commercial choice and never reorders a list.

Medical advice

Prices, not prescriptions

Dosing, eligibility and side effects are a clinician's call. Where a page touches clinical facts, it cites primary sources.

Social proof

No invented anything

No fake reviews, no invented user counts, no stock testimonials. Review scores are the platform's, with counts shown.

Guessing

Unverified stays unsaid

A program that publishes no price shows "not verified yet", never an estimate.

When it is wrong

10 corrections and 2 method changes are logged, each dated, with what we had, what is true and the commit that changed it.

A reported price is re-read at the seller’s page as soon as the report arrives and within a week at the latest. A wrong number is fixed on every page that shows it in one change, and nothing is edited silently. A seller changing its price is not a correction: that goes on the change log. Write to hello@pricetrackerglp1.com, or read the corrections log.

What it gets wrong, or cannot cover

It lists only programs we partner with

Every ranked program is a partner, and some pay us a commission. Large brands we do not partner with are not ranked, so the board is not the whole market. 21 more programs we track have a page that says why they are not on the board right now, with no link out. Manufacturer self-pay prices (LillyDirect, NovoCare) appear as quoted context, never as a ranked row.

A headline price is usually the starting dose

Rankings use each program's cheapest advertised price, which is normally the lowest dose and often a prepaid plan. Your dose may cost more. Program pages list the price at each dose and plan length where the seller publishes one.

Our history starts on 20 August 2026

Observed prices begin on 20 August 2026. Anything older on a chart is modeled, and labelled as modeled. We cannot tell you what a program charged in the spring.

Checkout decides

A seller can change a price between our reads, and some fees appear only inside an intake form we cannot reach. Some sites block automated reads entirely; their pages say "not verified yet" instead of a number. The price on the seller's checkout is the one you pay.

Some facts are the seller's word

State lists, cancellation terms and named pharmacies are quoted from each seller's own pages and re-checked monthly. We report what they publish; we cannot audit what happens after you order.

What a review of us says, checked

A review of this site was published on glp1.health on 22 October 2026. It is accurate on most points. Here are its substantive claims and what the site shows, read 30 October 2026.

  1. The claim

It "reads 22 US telehealth programs from their own pages every week", with "474 price checks since August 2026 across 22 programs and 205 tracked prices".

    What the site shows

True when written. The counts are live and have moved: today it is 25 programs, 150 tracked prices and 637 price checks since 20 August 2026, the same numbers the methodology page prints.

  2. The claim

    Prices are re-read weekly.

    What the site shows

Weekly for the full pass, and every live offer's source page is also re-checked daily at 04:30 UTC, which is what moves a program's checked date.

  3. The claim

"It tracks only programs it partners with", so the board is not the whole market.

    What the site shows

Correct, and it is the first limit on this page. The editorial policy and the methodology page say the same.

  4. The claim

"Its disclosure adds that programs it does not earn from, such as manufacturer-direct channels, are listed when they are relevant to your cost."

    What the site shows

Manufacturer prices (LillyDirect, NovoCare) appear as context, quoted verbatim from the maker's page with the date read. They are never a ranked row, a card or a link.

  5. The claim

Our pick is labelled "a commercial choice".

    What the site shows

Correct. It is chosen commercially, labelled that way every time it renders, and never changes the order of a list.

  6. The claim

"The price shown for a program is its cheapest advertised monthly price."

    What the site shows

Correct, and it is why every program page also carries the dose-by-plan prices the seller publishes, each with a verbatim quote and the date it was read.

  7. The claim

For a program's "safety record, pharmacy and terms", read a review elsewhere; the reviewing site "checks the program against FDA warning letters".

    What the site shows

Every program we track is checked against every FDA warning letter that names a GLP-1 drug, on its legit page and in a public dataset. For 16 of the 25 programs the program page also quotes who prescribes, which pharmacy dispenses, and the cancellation and refund terms from the seller's own pages; the programs that name their pharmacy are ranked on their own page, each pharmacy checked against FDA's records. One difference in policy: a program with a warning letter stays on the board with the letter shown, because a warning letter is FDA's allegation, not a court finding.

  8. The claim

"Observed price data starts in August 2026."

    What the site shows

    Correct: 20 August 2026.

Is PriceTracker GLP-1 legit: common questions

Is PriceTracker GLP-1 legit?

Yes. PriceTracker GLP-1 is an independent price tracker, founded and run by Julian Caraulani, that reads 25 US telehealth GLP-1 programs' prices from their own pages and dates every one. It earns affiliate commissions from the programs it lists, says so on every money page, and ranks every list by price alone.

Who runs PriceTracker GLP-1?

Julian Caraulani, its founder, who owns the methodology: which programs are tracked, how a price is verified, and what the index means. Dr. A. Goher, MD, reviews clinical statements only, never prices, rankings or commercial relationships.

How does PriceTracker GLP-1 make money?

Affiliate commissions. Some programs pay a commission when a reader signs up through a link on the site, at no extra cost to the reader. Those links are marked sponsored, and the commission never changes a price, a date or the order of a list.

Can a telehealth program pay to rank higher on PriceTracker GLP-1?

No. Every list is ordered by verified all-in monthly price, membership fees included. The one commercial slot, Our pick, is labelled as a commercial choice wherever it appears and does not reorder anything.

How often does PriceTracker GLP-1 check prices?

Every live offer's source page is re-checked daily, and a full pass reads every program's pricing pages weekly. A price change publishes only after two weekly reads agree, and every price shows the day it was read.

What does PriceTracker GLP-1 get wrong or not cover?

It ranks only programs it partners with, so it is not the whole market. Headline prices are usually the starting dose. Observed history starts on 20 August 2026. And a seller can change a price between reads, so the checkout price is the one that counts.

Does PriceTracker GLP-1 give medical advice?

No. It tracks what GLP-1 programs charge. Whether a GLP-1 is right for you, and at what dose, is a question for a licensed clinician.

Can I use PriceTracker GLP-1's price data?

Yes. Every tracked price is downloadable as CSV or JSON, with its read date and source page, under CC BY 4.0: credit PriceTracker GLP-1 with a link.

Every number has a source and a date.
