The cheapest GLP-1 is almost always a compounded one, and compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The ranking below is by price alone; what that price buys differs, and the drug pages say how.
How this list is ranked
- All-in, not advertised. A $149 program with a $74 monthly membership is a $223 program, and it ranks as one. Where a seller has not published a fee we could verify, the row says so rather than assuming zero.
- Checked weekly.Every price is read from the seller’s own page and dated. The trail on each row shows the shape; the solid section is our own record.
- Order is price, nothing else. We earn a commission when you buy through these links, and it never changes the order. No seller can pay for position.
- Only sellers we can verify. Programs we cannot check, or that have stopped taking patients, drop off the list rather than sitting on it stale.
Before you pick a GLP-1 program
Side effectsGLP-1 and alcoholThere is no blanket instruction on the label saying not to drink on a GLP-1. The specific risk that is well established is low blood sugar, and it applies to people who also take insulin or a sulfonylurea, where alcohol can compound the effect. Beyond that, two things are widely reported and not settled: that alcohol tolerance changes, and that interest in drinking drops. Both are worth mentioning to a prescriber and neither is something a website should turn into advice.Doses and injectingGLP-1 injection sitesAll the weekly GLP-1 injections go into the same three places. The Wegovy label says to inject subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh or upper arm, rotating sites with each dose, once weekly at any time of day with or without meals. Zepbound's label says the same about the abdomen and thigh but adds something nobody mentions: the back of the upper arm should be injected by another person. If you are on a compounded vial rather than a pen, the task is different again, because you are drawing the dose yourself. The drugsGLP-1 pills 2026Four swallowable GLP-1s exist now, and three of them launched in 2026. Rybelsus, the Wegovy pill and the Ozempic pill are all semaglutide in a tablet but are approved for different things; Foundayo is a different molecule entirely and the only one with no food or timing rules. Two are for weight, two are for type 2 diabetes, and the cheapest thing on most rankings is not any of them. Here is the whole landscape, with what each actually costs.
