3-Month Zepbound Results (Week 12 Update) | GLP-1 Weight Loss Journey, Side Effects & Before + After

Patient storyEnid Sabel 24,991 views34:50Oct 2025

Our summary

In this week 12 update, the creator says she is three months into Zepbound, which she started on July 31st, 2025, and has no regrets. She reports food suppression and nausea during the past week, plus a groggy feeling that left her unsure whether she was catching a cold or reacting to the shot. She says protein shakes helped on days she did not want to eat. She also describes weighing in a day early because she was travelling and has lymphedema in her left foot, which swells when she travels.

One person's experience, in their words. Not medical advice.

What else the video covers

She reports a weight of 156 lb, down from 159.2 lb the week before, a gap she attributes mostly to period-related bloating. Her starting weight was 177.8 lb, so she says she has lost 21.8 lb in three months. She lists a BMI of 28.7 and body fat of 38.4 percent from her scale report. Her measurements include a waist of 32.2 in, hips of 41.33 in, and biceps of 13.34 in (left) and 13.5 in (right). She says she has lost 12.68 in in total since the start, including 4.3 in at the waist.

She says she is unhappy that she weighs the same as when she worked out regularly but looks less toned, and that her clothes are fitting loose in the hips and thighs. Her plan is to raise her protein intake, build a meal plan, and add short workouts. She also describes injecting on the left side, away from the belly button, which she says stung less. The last section is a community spotlight with viewer tips on travelling with the shot, and a note about an AI-dubbed audio problem on her previous video.

Our guides closest to what this video covers, with prices checked weekly.

  • GLP-1 constipation, nausea, diarrhoea and fatigue: the label numbers, and what the labels say to do

The four gut effects are the four most common side effects of every GLP-1, and the labels put numbers on them. On Wegovy 2.4 mg: nausea 44%, diarrhoea 30%, constipation 24%, vomiting 24%, fatigue 11%, against 16%, 16%, 11%, 6% and 5% on placebo. On Zepbound at 15 mg: nausea 28%, diarrhoea 23%, constipation 11%, vomiting 13%, fatigue 7%. They cluster around dose increases, they are the reason 6.8% of Wegovy patients and up to 6.7% of Zepbound patients stopped, and both labels prescribe the same fix: climb slower.

  • Zepbound dosage chart: every tirzepatide dose, the escalation rule, what each rung lost in the trial, and what it costs

Zepbound has six doses, 2.5 to 15 mg, taken once a week. The label's rule is four weeks at 2.5 mg, then 2.5 mg steps with at least four weeks on each, to a maintenance dose of 5, 10 or 15 mg. In SURMOUNT-1 those three doses lost 15.0, 19.5 and 20.9 percent of body weight over 72 weeks. Direct from Lilly each rung has a price, $299 at 2.5 mg rising to $699 at 10 mg and above, so the chart below carries the dose, the rule, the trial result and the bill in one place, plus the vial and KwikPen concentrations for anyone measuring in units.

  • Zepbound side effects: the label's table by dose, who actually quits, and how it compares to semaglutide

Zepbound's label puts a number on every common side effect at each of its three maintenance doses. Nausea runs 25 to 29 percent against 8 on placebo, diarrhoea 19 to 23, vomiting 8 to 13, constipation 11 to 17. Across the two approval trials, 4.8 to 6.7 percent of people stopped the drug because of side effects, against 3.4 percent on placebo, and most of those who quit did so in the first months, from gut effects during dose escalation. Below that table are the rarer things the label warns about, with the trial rates where it gives them, and the honest comparison to Ozempic's table.
