Our summary

She tells viewers she had tried other weight loss programs and diet pills without healthy results before she started hearing about semaglutide. What else the video covers
She reports that she is now down to 142 lb. According to her, the swelling in her hands and feet and the joint pain are gone, and she runs in the park, walks her dog at night and does yard work without paying for it the next day. She says her mood improved, she wakes up energized, and she no longer feels scared of food or embarrassed about how she looks. She also says she went from a size 15 or 16 to a size 7.
Kimberly describes weighing the cost of semaglutide against the benefits and concluding there were more pros than cons. She says she used to eat out often and buy chips, cookies and pizza, but now cooks at home and buys fresh fruits and vegetables. In her telling, the lower grocery bill offset the cost of the semaglutide. She closes by suggesting skeptical viewers give it a month, and says that in her experience results and energy show up within the first 2 weeks. The video does not cover dosing, side effects or medical supervision.

Our guides closest to what this video covers, with prices checked weekly.
- Semaglutide for weight loss: which version, and what each costs
Semaglutide is the molecule. For weight loss the FDA-approved version is Wegovy, sold as a weekly pen and a daily tablet. Ozempic is the same molecule approved for type 2 diabetes, so using it for weight is off-label. Compounded semaglutide is the same molecule from a compounding pharmacy, is not FDA-approved, and is what most cash buyers actually take because it costs a fraction of the brand. All three produce the same side effects. What differs is the approval, the oversight and the price.
- Tirzepatide vs semaglutide: the head-to-head result, and what the better one costs
They were finally tested against each other. In SURMOUNT-5, 751 adults with obesity took the maximum tolerated dose of one or the other for 72 weeks: tirzepatide lost 20.2% of body weight, semaglutide 13.7%. That gap is real and it is the whole argument for tirzepatide. The other half of the decision is the bill: compounded tirzepatide runs from $85 a month on our board against $69 for semaglutide, and the branded gap is wider still.
- The best GLP-1 for weight loss, ranked by the evidence and then by the bill
By weight lost, the order is settled: tirzepatide (Zepbound) first at 20.2% in the only head-to-head, then semaglutide 7.2 mg (Wegovy HD) at 18.7%, then semaglutide 2.4 mg (Wegovy) at 13.7% to 15.6%, then the pills. By what you pay, the order nearly inverts: compounded semaglutide from $69 a month, the Wegovy tablet from $149, Wegovy pen $349, Zepbound $299 to $699 by dose. The best one is where those two lists meet for your budget and your plan.
