First month on compounded tirzepatide #zepBound #mounjaro for Fast Weight Loss.
Our summary
In this video, a woman who introduces herself as Ebony (the channel is named Bianca) reports on her first month taking compounded tirzepatide. She says she started on May 13th at 204.6 pounds, at 2.5 milligrams, and was down to 189 pounds after 33 days, a loss of 24.6 pounds by her account. She is 55 and says she responded very well. She explains that her doctor moved her to 5.0 milligrams after the first week, and that she now plans to stay at that dose until she stops losing.

What else the video covers
She walks through her weigh-ins by date. She says she was 199.9 on May 19th, 195 on June 2nd, 190.2 on June 8th and 187.5 on June 15th, which she says leaves 27.8 pounds to reach her goal weight. She credits the Happy Scale app for showing a trending weight, and argues that a longer view of the data matters more than any single day, because daily numbers rise and fall.
She also puts the results in context. She says her weight reached 207 in April, the heaviest in her recorded history, and that she has been going up and down between the 190s and 200s for about three years. She notes that 190.2 and 187.5 were the lowest readings in 15 months and about 3 years, respectively, according to her app. She expects her loss to slow to around a pound a week over time, says she is confident of reaching her goal this year, and describes cleaning out her closet as a non-food way to reward herself.

Our guides closest to what this video covers, with prices checked weekly.
- Mounjaro for weight loss, and why Zepbound exists
Mounjaro is tirzepatide approved for type 2 diabetes. Zepbound is the same molecule from the same maker, approved for weight management, and it goes to the same 15 mg. So unlike Ozempic and Wegovy, there is no dose ceiling pushing you from one to the other: the reason people move is coverage and cash price, not strength. Using Mounjaro for weight is off-label and a prescriber's decision. In the one head-to-head trial, tirzepatide beat semaglutide, 20.2% mean body-weight loss at 72 weeks against 13.7%.
- Retatrutide: up to 28.3% weight loss in trials, no FDA approval yet, and no legal way to buy it today
Retatrutide is Eli Lilly's experimental weekly injection that acts on three hormone receptors (GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon). In the phase 3 TRIUMPH-1 trial, people on the 12 mg dose lost 28.3% of their weight at 80 weeks by Lilly's efficacy measure (25.0% counting everyone randomized). It is not FDA-approved, has no price, and cannot legally be sold. Lilly plans to file with FDA in Q1 2027. Tirzepatide is the closest thing you can buy now, compounded from $85 a month on our board.
- Tirzepatide vs semaglutide: the head-to-head result, and what the better one costs
They were finally tested against each other. In SURMOUNT-5, 751 adults with obesity took the maximum tolerated dose of one or the other for 72 weeks: tirzepatide lost 20.2% of body weight, semaglutide 13.7%. That gap is real and it is the whole argument for tirzepatide. The other half of the decision is the bill: compounded tirzepatide runs from $85 a month on our board against $69 for semaglutide, and the branded gap is wider still.
