PeterMD First review on tirzepatide
Our summary
Amy, who says she has used PeterMD for tirzepatide since November 7th, 2024, shares her first review of the service. She lists three things she likes: it is a Christian organization that talks about Peter failing and returning to the path of following Christ, the price, and the customer service. She says emails get a reply within minutes at times, and that the staff are responsive and explain things well.

What else the video covers
She reports losing 10 pounds in two months and says she is very excited about it. She contrasts this with 2021, when she says she used Ozempic for a year and a half and her best month was a loss of 3 pounds, even while eating carefully and exercising four to five times a week with gym visits, hydrotherapy and weight lifting. She says she was very intentional about it.
Amy explains that she switched to tirzepatide after regaining weight once her insurance stopped paying for her earlier medication. She says she has many health concerns and is on disability, which limits her ability to get to the gym. According to her, the extra weight was making her symptoms worse. She would like to lose another 25 pounds to return to her earlier weight, and she says that after her previous loss she was more active, which made the weight easier to manage. She plans to keep using PeterMD and encourages others to do the same.

- Tirzepatide vs semaglutide: the head-to-head result, and what the better one costs
They were finally tested against each other. In SURMOUNT-5, 751 adults with obesity took the maximum tolerated dose of one or the other for 72 weeks: tirzepatide lost 20.2% of body weight, semaglutide 13.7%. That gap is real and it is the whole argument for tirzepatide. The other half of the decision is the bill: compounded tirzepatide runs from $85 a month on our board against $69 for semaglutide, and the branded gap is wider still.
- Retatrutide: up to 28.3% weight loss in trials, no FDA approval yet, and no legal way to buy it today
Retatrutide is Eli Lilly's experimental weekly injection that acts on three hormone receptors (GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon). In the phase 3 TRIUMPH-1 trial, people on the 12 mg dose lost 28.3% of their weight at 80 weeks by Lilly's efficacy measure (25.0% counting everyone randomized). It is not FDA-approved, has no price, and cannot legally be sold. Lilly plans to file with FDA in Q1 2027. Tirzepatide is the closest thing you can buy now, compounded from $85 a month on our board.
- What is Zepbound? Tirzepatide explained: what it treats, how it works, and what it costs
Zepbound is Eli Lilly's brand of tirzepatide, a once-weekly injection that acts on two hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1. The FDA label approves it, with diet and exercise, for weight reduction in adults with obesity or overweight plus a weight-related condition, and for moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea in adults with obesity. In the SURMOUNT-5 trial it produced 20.2% average weight loss at 72 weeks against 13.7% for semaglutide. Lilly sells it self-pay from $299 a month.
