Who runs ShedRx

The company behind the site, the clinicians who prescribe, and the pharmacy that fills the order, each taken from ShedRx’s own pages and quoted.

Operator

The site is owned and run by Shed Holdings, LLC, 10813 S River Front Pkwy, Ste 550, South Jordan, UT 84095. The terms say Shed is not a medical group. The HIPAA notice uses the name Shed Rx.

Prescribers

Prescriptions come from an unnamed independent, physician-owned "Provider Group" and its licensed providers. The site features Dr. Asad Niazi, MD as a provider.

Pharmacy

The terms list six partner compounding pharmacies. The pharmacy is assigned automatically by dose and shipping location, and members cannot pick one. The terms also say products may ship from outside the U.S.

None found. We hold every FDA warning letter that names semaglutide, tirzepatide or a GLP-1 drug, and none is addressed to ShedRx or Shed Holdings, LLC (checked Oct 13, 2026).

LegitScript

No LegitScript seal or checker link on its site. Many legitimate sellers are not certified; this is a missing confirmation, not a mark against them.

Cancelling, refunds and the contract

What ShedRx’s own terms say, in their words, so you know the exit before you pay.

Cancelling

Cancel in the patient portal (My Subscriptions, Treatment Details, Manage Subscription) at least 72 hours before the next billing date; later requests only stop the following charge. Multi-month plans can also be cancelled by email to support@tryshed.com, but only after the minimum term. The terms and one help article still mention a two-month minimum commitment, while a newer help article says you may cancel at any time.

Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, and orders sent to the pharmacy cannot be cancelled or refunded. Multi-month plans refund only unshipped cycles, after repricing used months at the month-to-month rate. A separate 120-day guarantee refunds program payments if you lose under 5% (or miss your goal weight) after completing four commitments.

Billing and contract

Medication programs are auto-renewing subscriptions billed every 28 days or monthly. 6- and 12-month prepaid plans exist. Disputes go to binding individual AAA arbitration under Utah law, with a class action and jury waiver, but you can opt out by emailing support@tryshed.com within 30 days of accepting the terms.

Plan details in the fine print

Lines in ShedRx’s terms, FAQ or checkout that change what you pay or how long you are committed. None of them is hidden, and all of them are easy to miss.

1. Dose-based price rise: the homepage FAQ promises the GLP-1 price stays the same at any dose, and the pricing article says injection pricing covers all doses, but the same pricing article says going above 0.9 mg semaglutide moves you to a $299 a month Standard plan.

2. Two-month minimum: the terms list cancelling before the two-month minimum commitment as a no-refund case, though a newer help article drops that language.

3. Billing every 28 days means 13 charges a year, and billing continues even when a shipment is delayed or a follow-up form is not done.

4. Discounts usually apply to the first month only, then the plan renews at the standard rate.

5. Prepaid 6- and 12-month plans: shipped cycles are non-refundable, and on early cancellation used months are repriced at the month-to-month rate ($199 for semaglutide) before any refund.

6. If medication does not ship because you missed a refill form or visit, that month is still charged and not refundable; any credit is at Shed's discretion and expires (60 days in the terms, 365 days in a help article).

7. Submitting a program change charges the new program immediately and blocks cancelling or pausing until the change is complete.

8. The 120-day guarantee requires all four monthly coaching appointments, 8 weigh-ins, 60 of 120 daily Pivot check-ins and on-time follow-up forms, and is only for first-time users of the medication class.

9. Defaulted payments can bring finance charges, collection costs and legal fees.

10. A help article refers to a $125 Shed Membership charge without explaining which plan it applies to.

Shipping, what is included, insurance

Shipping

Standard shipping is free. Most orders arrive within 5 to 10 business days from when processing begins, and first orders can take the full 10. GLP-1 shipments come with ice packs. Carriers are FedEx, UPS or USPS; no PO boxes, no overnight or same-day delivery.

Insurance and HSA/FSA

Shed does not take insurance. It accepts HSA and FSA cards, and says provider visits, prescription supplies and shipping are eligible with a receipt.
