HEALTH BREAKTHROUGH: Noom unveils proactive GLP-1 program
Our summary
According to the video, Noom is launching a proactive health program that combines a micro dose of a GLP-1 medication, regular at-home biomarker blood testing, and Noom's behavior change program. CEO Jeff Cook says the program is aimed at intervening sooner, before metabolic disorder takes root, and is meant for anyone who wants to be healthier, whether or not they have weight to lose. He says diet, exercise and a positive mindset remain the best longevity tools, and that GLP-1s are one important tool alongside them. He states the program costs $149 a month and includes the testing, the medication and the Noom program.

What else the video covers
Cook describes Noom's core approach as cognitive behavioral therapy applied to health, built on the idea that habits start in the mind. He says the app uses game-like features such as step goals, rewards for photographing meals, redeemable seeds, and a digital art therapy product for stress breaks. He calls this the company's DNA.
The interview then turns to diabetes. The host says Noom has launched a diabetes lifestyle program for employers and health plans, plus a glucose forecasting platform. Cook says revenue from GLP-1, diabetes and HRT was roughly zero three years ago and is now more than half of Noom's revenue. He says the enterprise business is about 10% of revenue and covered lives doubled to 6 million last year. He reports that a Noom glucose-connection study showed a 1% reduction in A1C, and that the glucose forecaster, which estimates a glucose spike from a food photo, will roll out to a top 10 health plan on January 1. The host closes by citing Goldman Sachs market growth projections for obesity drugs.

- Is Noom legit? What Noom's GLP-1 program costs, its reviews, and its record
Yes. Noom is a real company, and its Noom Med arm prescribes GLP-1s through licensed clinicians. As of October 2026 its own site prices the medication-included Noom GLP-1Rx plan, which is compounded semaglutide, at $129 for the first four weeks, then $279 a month billed as $837 every 12 weeks, though the FAQ on the same page says $249. Trustpilot scores Noom 4.5 across 67,088 reviews, mostly about its app, and we found no FDA warning letter naming it.
- Ro, Hims, Noom, WeightWatchers, Found, Calibrate: what each GLP-1 program actually charges
The big-name programs price two things separately, the membership and the medication, and the headline you see is usually one of them. Ro charges a $149 monthly membership ($74 a month if you prepay a year) plus $149 to $299 for branded drugs. WeightWatchers Clinic is $74 a month on a 12-month plan, after a $25 first month, plus medication from $149. Calibrate is $199 a month on a three-month commitment, medication separate. Found advertises compounded GLP-1s from $99 a month on its insurance-supported tier and $169 cash on an annual plan, with no fee. Hims and Noom do not publish a price on a page we can read.
- Foundayo: the GLP-1 pill where buying direct is the cheap route
Lilly's oral GLP-1 was approved on 1 April 2026, and it does something no other weight-loss pill does: you take it any time of day, with or without food. The pricing is the surprising part. Lilly self-pay starts at $149 a month, and the one telehealth program on our board selling it, Sesame Care, charges $208 once its membership fee is counted. That reverses the usual arithmetic in this market, and the reason is simple: orforglipron is a new small molecule under patent, so there is no compounded version to undercut it.
