Yes, as of October 2026 Calibrate is a legitimate GLP-1 program. Clinicians prescribe branded drugs such as Wegovy and Zepbound after a video visit,12 its homepage carries a LegitScript seal, it holds 4.5 on Trustpilot from 1,201 reviews, and FDA's warning-letter database lists no letter to it. Whether it is worth it depends almost entirely on one thing: whether your commercial insurance covers the drug.
We do not track or partner with Calibrate, so we cannot link to it and it is not on our board. Everything about Calibrate below comes from its own site, Trustpilot and the FDA, each quoted and dated. The programs we list further down are partners that pay us a commission if you join through us (how that works). They are ranked by price alone.

What Calibrate sells and what it costs
Calibrate sells a coached program it calls the Metabolic Reset, with GLP-1 medication as one part of it. The price, from its own pricing page:1
This brings your total commitment cost to $597 paid in monthly installments of $199/month.
Calibrate
| What | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Program membership | $199/mo | 3-month minimum ($597), then month to month and cancellable2 |
| GLP-1 medication with commercial coverage | "typically $25/month or less" | after any deductible is met2 |
| GLP-1 medication without coverage | not published | "self-pay options" reviewed at your visit3 |
| Lab tests | not included | billed through your insurance2 |
| Payment | HSA/FSA eligible | the program fee itself is not covered by insurance2 |
The drugs it names are all branded: "Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, Foundayo® or Zepbound®".1 Its insurance page confirms "the GLP-1 medications that Calibrate doctors currently prescribe are brand-name medications", which is why a high-deductible plan will not pay for them until the deductible is met.3 We went through Calibrate next to the other big-name programs in what each GLP-1 program actually charges.
Calibrate's $25 is a condition, not a price. It needs commercial insurance that already covers the drug, after any deductible. If your plan excludes GLP-1s for weight loss, you would be paying $199 a month for the program plus a self-pay drug price Calibrate does not publish. And anyone with Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare cannot join at all, "regardless of whether they are willing to pay out of pocket".3
Calibrate also guarantees that "if you stick with Calibrate for 12 consecutive months, you will lose at least 10% of your body weight, with or without the GLP-1 medication or you'll be eligible for money back", with terms attached.4 Twelve months of membership at $199 is $2,388 before any medication, so read the terms before counting on it.
What reviewers say
Calibrate holds 4.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 1,201 reviews.5 Trustpilot adds two notes worth reading: "This company hasn't invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative", and that it "Hasn’t replied to negative reviews".5 On its own pricing page Calibrate shows a REVIEWS.io widget at 4.43 from 1,618 reviews.6 Neither is our number, and neither tells you how its insurance help works for your plan, which is the part of the experience that varies most.
Its regulatory record
We searched FDA's warning-letter database for "Calibrate Health" on 5 October 2026 and it listed no letter,8 and the GLP-1 warning-letter file we keep from FDA's database has no Calibrate entry either. A warning letter is an allegation by the agency, not a court finding, so even one would not settle the question; there is none to report.
Because Calibrate prescribes branded, FDA-approved drugs, the compounding questions that hang over cheaper cash programs do not apply to its medication.
Who Calibrate suits, and who it does not
- Suits: someone with commercial or employer insurance that covers Wegovy or Zepbound for weight, who wants structured coaching and is happy to commit to at least three months. Calibrate also has employer arrangements ("if your employer covers Calibrate"), so check with yours first.2
- Does not suit: anyone on Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare. They are not accepted.
- Does not suit: a cash buyer. $597 for the first three months buys the program only; the drug is extra and its self-pay price is not published.
- Check first: your plan's coverage of the drug for weight, using our coverage sheets, and our ten-minute legitimacy checklist for any program you are weighing.
How Calibrate's price compares with programs we track
The programs we track sell the drug for cash, with any fee included in the price we show. Calibrate sells a program and leaves the drug to your insurance, so the comparison depends on your coverage:
| Your situation | Calibrate, per month | Cheapest on our board, all-in |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial insurance covers the drug | $199 + copay "typically $25/month or less" | cash prices only; your copay may beat them |
| No coverage, want branded Wegovy (pill or pen) | $199 + an unpublished self-pay price | $208 |
| No coverage, want Zepbound | $199 + an unpublished self-pay price | $358 |
| No coverage, open to compounded semaglutide (not FDA-approved) | not offered | $69 |
Our column is live and re-checked weekly; Calibrate's is its own published price, read on 5 October 2026. The full rankings are on the cheapest semaglutide and the cheapest tirzepatide pages, and every program we track, sorted.
