The company behind the site, the clinicians who prescribe, and the pharmacy that fills the order, each taken from Sprout Health’s own pages and quoted.

Operator

The site is run by Sprout Health Partners LLC. The footer lists a Houston, Texas address (9801 Westheimer Road Suite 300). Its legal pages also spell the name "Sprouth Health Partners LLC" in places.

Prescribers

Prescribing is done through MD Integrations (MDI), a physician network. The terms say MDI doctors do live (synchronous) visits in 15 states where state law requires it, and the medical portal links to patient.mdintegrations.com.

Cancelling, refunds and the contract

What Sprout Health’s own terms say, in their words, so you know the exit before you pay.

Cancelling

Cancel at least 48 hours before the next billing date by emailing help@joinsprouthealth.com or calling +1 (833) 496-4020; later requests take effect the following cycle and the upcoming charge still applies. Cancelling does not stop or refund an order already sent to the pharmacy. Shipment delays need 5 business days' notice.

Refunds

Full refund if you cancel before a provider reviews your intake. After review but before the prescription goes to the pharmacy, you get a refund minus a flat $50 clinical review fee. Once the prescription is sent to the pharmacy, the charge is non-refundable. Prepaid multi-month plans are refunded only for months not yet shipped, at the per-month value you actually paid.

Billing and contract

Plans auto-renew until cancelled. The homepage sells a 12-month plan billed in one charge every 12 months and a monthly plan billed every 4 weeks, while the refund policy describes only monthly, 3-month and 6-month subscriptions. Terms are governed by Michigan law, with binding AAA arbitration in Wayne, Michigan, a class-action waiver, and a one-year limit to bring claims.

Plan details in the fine print

Lines in Sprout Health’s terms, FAQ or checkout that change what you pay or how long you are committed. None of them is hidden, and all of them are easy to miss.

1. The advertised $99 a month for semaglutide (and $149 for tirzepatide) is the 12-month plan, charged as one $1,188 (or $1,788) payment every 12 months. Month to month costs $149 (or $199) every 4 weeks, which is 13 charges a year.

2. A $50 clinical review fee is kept if you cancel after the provider has reviewed your intake, and nothing is refunded once the prescription reaches the pharmacy.

3. Cancellation must arrive 48 hours before the billing date or the next charge still goes through.

4. During a medication shortage Sprout ships late rather than refunding, and says it is not liable for gaps in therapy.

5. Quarterly GLP-1 plans ship only two months of medication at first; the rest depends on submitting a new questionnaire after the third dose of month two.

6. Lost or delivered-but-missing packages are replaced case by case, and late reports may require you to pay for a replacement dose.

Shipping, what is included, insurance

Shipping

Most prescriptions go to the pharmacy within two business days of the visit; orders typically ship in 3 to 7 business days by refrigerated overnight or 2-day shipping, in insulated packaging with cold packs. Shipping is included in the price. Package problems must be reported within 24 hours of delivery under the refund policy (the help center says 48 hours).

The homepage says the price covers the provider visit, medication and shipping, at the same price at any dose. The help center adds provider access, ongoing support, and injection supplies in the shipment.

Insurance and HSA/FSA

Sprout is cash-pay only and does not process Medicare, Medicaid or commercial insurance. The site does not mention HSA or FSA.

HIPAA statements conflict: the how-it-works page calls Sprout a fully HIPAA-compliant company, while the terms say the site is not designed to comply with HIPAA.
